I despise bugs...
....especially when I am forced to inhale or ingest them either through my mouth or my nose.
That pretty much sums up today's ride.
9 miles.
Total so far: 774.
I was literally covered in swarming gnats. I had to brush several hundred off of my shirt.
They were plastered onto my arms.
They were in my hair.
And I don't even want to talk about how many of them I managed to trap down my shirt.
It. Was. GROSS.
But the 9 miles I got in was a fast 9 miles. I think I averaged at least 14.3 mph. I was riding angry because of medical bills. Grrr.
Hopefully the bug fog will have lifted for my next ride! Because this just isn't going to fly.
